When this rod arrived in our shop we were immediately impressed by the build quality and finish. The rod is lightweight but oozes power, it has a long integrated tip section, which means that the tip flows into the main blank without changing the action, perfect for showing shy bites at long range.

Looks are all well and good but how a rod performs is the most important feature, so we took the rod over the beach and put it through it's paces. 5oz and 6oz leads were attached and off the ground and short swing continental style casts were employed. The rod handled both styles equally well, sending leads towards the horizon with ease. 

This 3 piece rod is made from top grade carbons, and is manufactured in Italy by Italcanna, so they know exactly what makes a good fishing rod, and this is a very good fishing rod! Available in 4.5m (14'9") and rated to cast 180g, the rod comes with it's own Italcanna rod bag.
