The PENN Squall® II Level Wind builds off the successful first generation and adds key technology to make these the best value level wind reels on the market. Now featuring PENN's® proprietary Fast Gear Access Sideplate, maintenance is more angler friendly than ever. The Squall® II Level Wind reels also feature a 3+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearing system and HT-100™ carbon fiber drag system, entirely surrounded by a lightweight graphite frame and sideplates. Available in 4 sizes from 15 to 50, with key line counter models included, the PENN Squall II Level Wind has a model for everybody.

These are tough and reliable level-wind reels covering all aspects of general boat fishing with both mono and braid lines.The Squall Level Wind heavy-duty construction makes it a true workhorse and favourite of charter boat captains and hard fishing anglers.

The Squall 15LW is pefect for fishing artificials over wrecks and reefs and the narrower spool is well suited to using braid. It can also be used for light inshore bottom fishing.Capacity 320yds x 15lb nylon

The Squall 20LW is a good all round boat reel which will cope admirably with light bottom fishing and drifting with artificals for cod, pollack and bass. Capacity 415yds x 17lb nylon

The Squall 30LW is a proper 30lb class boat reel which is ideal for general bottom fishing in deep water and strong tides. Capacity 455yds x 25lb nylon
