The PENN Tidal XT 453 K-type Sensitip is a single-tip rod designed for serious long-range surfcasting. It is built with a specific purpose: to provide the power to cast heavy leads and baits into the distance while retaining a sensitive tip for detecting even the most cautious of bites. The “453” in the model number refers to its length of 4.5 meters (approximately 15 feet).

• Length: 15 feet (4.50m). This is a classic long-range surfcasting length, providing the leverage needed to launch heavy rigs a significant distance to reach fish feeding far from the shore. The extra length also helps to keep your line clear of waves and kelp.
• Casting Weight: Available in both 100-250g and 100-300g. Both heavy-duty casting weights, indicating the rod is built for extreme conditions.
