This is the flagship of the PENN® Tidal surf casting concept. These blanks have been years in development. Working together with some of the best experts in Europe, the elite series it built by the elite, to give you the best possibilities you can find in a surf rod. To accomplish this, PENN® had to push the boundaries further that they have ever done before. The extreme light blank is made with a combination between 50T carbon and with the addition of Triaxial Multidirectional Weave Structure, PENN® accomplished to make a rod with incredible recovery speed, which truly shows on the casting distance.

The rod has undergone countless testing sessions – Both in the lab an in the field. This rod is truly revolutionary in terms of a continental rod. The power to weight ratio isn’t anything we have seen before. In test we have been thumping 5oz weights with an over head thump over 220 yards which is pretty incredible.

The tip is also particularly impressive. It’s a hybrid style tip which sits brilliantly well in the tide but still show ups every bite. The combination of Fuji lightweight stainless steel K-type frames fitted with durable and light Fuji Alconite rings, creates a rod that does not get weight down by heavy guides.
