The Spreader Boat Boom is a must have piece of tackle, if you're drift fishing for plaice or other predatory bottom feeders like Brill and Turbot. The boom enables the angler to fish with 2 short traces hard on the seabed. They can be used with small spoons, but the traces shouldn't exceed 18" or they could tangle when letting down.
