Follow Eastbourne Road heading west out of Pevensey Bay and follow the signs to Eastbourne Seafront. Proceed west along Eastbourne Seafront (Royal Parade). Approx 1 mile from Sovereign roundabout there are signs for the car park at Treasure Island/ Redoubt Fortress(BN22 7AQ), from which the beach can be easily accessed.
Parking is easy at this location and there are toilets and Refreshments nearby.

1st Jan 2020 - 28th February 2020 - recreational sea angling for seabass is permitted on a catch and release basis only.
1st March 2020 - 30th November 2020 - recreational sea anglers are permitted to retain up to two bass per day (over the minimum conservation reference size of 42cm).
1st December 2020 onwards - recreational sea angling for seabass is permitted on a catch and release basis only.
