There are plenty of reports at present of good catches of bass from Eastbourne and Pevensey beaches.
Thanks Dan Slidel, pictured, who reports:
'Another good bass last night in the wind and rain, went 53cm just under 3lb, caught on a short pulley rig on a mackerel head as bait.'
