Gary Banfield is pictured with a new Anderida Beach Fishing Club record smooth hound caught at Cooden on Thursday night.
The fish measured 120 cm which came out at 15lb 11.5 ozs on the weight to measure chart, but it actually weighed 17lb 4ozs!
Well done Gary ('Bonus') Banfield. It was part of a catch of many smooth hounds,, some bass and small congers.
The fishing is exceptional at the moment. Main bait was worm and squid, fished on pulley pennel rigs.
