'Whilst walking on the beach in Pevensey Bay last night, I came across young angler Elijah Smith who was obviously into a good fish. I waited for a couple of minutes and watched him expertly land this cracking smoothhound. It was caught on squid bait. We measured it at 99 cm and watched it swim off after taking pictures.
It's great to see the next generation of anglers coming through. Well done Elijah'
