Follow Coast Rd heading east out of Pevensey Bay, towards Norman’s Bay.
About ¾mile down Coast Rd from the traffic lights, The Kiosk (BN24 6NR) is a small shop on the right hand side of the road, just before the entrance to Beachlands estate (via Marine Avenue) on the left hand side. There is parking on Coast Road opposite The Kiosk. Behind The Kiosk there are a flight of concrete steps giving access to the beach.
Recreational Bass Fishing Restrictions - Updated October 2023
1st Feb - 31st March - recreational sea angling for seabass is permitted on a catch and release basis only.
1st April - 31st January - recreational sea anglers are permitted to retain up to two bass per angler per day (over the minimum conservation reference size of 42cm).
UPDATE 2021
CONGER EELS may also now be caught at this location, from Spring through to Autumn. Best baits for conger are large fish or squid baits, fished on a large hooked (size 5/0+) Pulley Pennel rig, best after dark.
