Thanks Phil West for this report and some great pictures from a session in Normans Bay at the weekend, after calling into the shop for bait, and advice!! Phil told us:

'So after nipping in the shop and having a chat with Ollie, he told me the smooth hounds had appeared again. I grabbed some squid from the Anglers Den and set off for Normans Bay. Had two cracking hounds, no scales but I reckon my last of the night would of definitely been touching 10 pounds.
