Chris Voller is pictured with another Small Eyed Ray, one of a number in recent weeks. Great to see this becoming a realistic target!
Chris reports:
'Hi guys, managed a lovely 6lb 12oz small eyed ray in the Normans Bay area over low last night. Taken on a single sandeel fished at distance.'
11th October 23
Chris Voller is pictured with a lovely small eyed ray caught last night in Normans Bay on a small bluey bait. Great to see!
3rd October 23
Chris Voller is pictured with recent catches of ray from a local beach and reports:
'Thanks very much for the great lugworm Dad picked up on Friday. As good as they always are. Fished a session on Friday at Normans Bay and managed 8 thornbacks along with pout, dogs and strap eels. All to the lugworm.
And we also tried Normans again last night, and we managed sole and small eyed as well as pout and dogs again, before the deteriorating weather forced us home. Thanks again.'
