Thanks Jay Carter for this great picture. Jay reported:

'Another pb last night cod 4lbs at 63cm caught on my sole rig with size 4 hooks and half a worm!' Well Done Jay :)

 

2nd September 2023

Jay Carter (left) caught a 61cm cod from an Eastbourne beach and reported :

'Just had my pb cod 61cm pulley pennel rig with a whole squid. Was about to pack up when my rod went mental. Knew I was into something special but didn't think it would be a cod absolutely buzzing. Guess not going home yet lol'

Ed Holyoake (right) also caught this nice sized cod from a Pevensey Bay beach on the same night.

Great to see!!
