Peter Cornwell is pictured with a lovely 1lb 9oz dover sole caught last night from an Eastbourne beach. A similar size sole was caught from a Pevensey Bay beach in the Anderida beach fishing comp on Friday night! Great to see!
Peter Cornwell sent this full catch report from Saturday night:
'fished with Sala, his nephew and Malcolm. Fished Eastbourne pier and beach, very breezy start but did calm down.
Fish caught are as follows
Bass to 2lb 8oz (52cm), Sole to 1lb 8oz (43cm), Smoothie's to 6lb 8oz, Flounders, Dogfish, Ray 1lb10oz, Silver eels and small strap conger.'
