'Early morning 4.30am start to beat the weather coming in this afternoon fishing out of Eastbourne Marina on 'Blackbird'. Quiet for first hour and then managed to hook into some bass biggest was 5½lb then had a massive take on the sidewinder lure which resulted in a huge 9½lb pollock followed by another slightly smaller at 5½lb!! Also manged to find a couple of sizeable codling. Back in the lock for 10am!! Pictured is Neil Blackford holding his catches!!'
