Dover Sole, Bass, Plaice, Eels - 18th August 2019

Over recent weeks, dover sole have continued to be caught at night from local beaches.

Bass are being caught during the day, as well as plaice particularly at Langney Point. There have also been reports of small silver eels and conger eels, as well as small smoothounds, some whiting and even the occaisional codling!

Les Glazzard is pictured with the 1lb 10½oz dover sole caught last night at Langney Point, Eastbourne. Nice one Les??
