What Our Customers Say about Beachcasting Lessons
Glyn was clear, calm and friendly throughout; his explanations really hit home and I couldn't be more delighted with the results. As a bonus, we went back to the shop and I was able to sort out a bunch of tackle and gear issues.

We took the kids for fishing lesson off the beach with Glynn from this great fishing shop. The lesson was great and both adults and kids learnt a huge amount in a short time. Great teacher and a great beach to learn on. Thanks. (5 Star ***** Google Review ) Mike Causton 11th August 2017
My girlfriend and I recently had a casting lesson with Glyn. He was very friendly and an excellent teacher. Our fees all went to McMillan Cancer charity. I've been self taught for two years and through an understanding of the technique I should have been using, my cast became much more fluid and my casting distance went up dramatically using a lot less power than I had before. It was my girlfriends first proper time casting with a her first rod. Glyn was extremely patient with her and made her feel comfortable that her first few casts weren't great and helped her focused on the positives and not the negatives. As he helped her, her casts were getting better and better and by the end of the hour, he'd taught her a cast with a lovely technique and the distances were climbing. I can't recommend Glyn enough to anyone wanting to improve their casting.

I gave up fishing at least twenty years ago. The maximum distance I cast then was around 80yds. After two lessons and a months practicing my maximum cast has now gone up 160yds. I will admit that I have recently bought a modern 15ft rod and long distance beach reel (from Glyn) but it's a fantastic feeling to learn to cast them properly to distances up to 160yds. I'm looking forwards to my third lesson.

I arranged a beachcasting lesson for 2 adults and 9 year old. Glyn was very helpful right from the start and offered a session that suited us perfectly. The lesson itself was excellent - informative, practical and great fun. Glyn explained everything very clearly and gave lots of positive encouragement. Rods were provided so we didn't need to worry about getting our own kit.
The staff at Anglers Den were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them. Laura Daniels 10th June 2016 (Comments & Feedback e-form)

'I am not often compelled to write to anyone other than in anger or frustration. I feel I must drop you guys a note of thanks and appreciation of my experience yesterday.
'In one one-hour session, he taught my sons and I how to cast, how to tie knots, and the different tackle used for catching different species of fish. His enthusiasm is infectious, his instruction is clearly expressed, his patience is saintly, and, like all good teachers, he appreciates the importance of giving praise when it is due... Book a lesson with Glyn; it will increase your ambition and enjoyment ten-fold.' Nick Sanceau, Westerham,Kent. (July 2013)
