Mixed Species Off Local Beaches after Recent Rough Weather - 20th Dec 2018

The recent rough weather over the past week or so has brought lots of shellfish onto the beaches and with that, lots of different species of fish have been showing off local beaches.

Species have included bass, dogfish, dover sole, flounder and dabs, as well as whiting and pout.

The weather looks like calming down over the weekend and into the Christmas break - Happy Days!!

On Saturday 22nd Dec Peter Cornwell (pictured below) fished off a local beach during the daytime and reported lovely weather with a dirty sea that produced a mixed bag of fish. Pete caught pout, small bass and dabs, 6 of which were keepers. Thanks for sending Pete!
