Glyn Morgan describes the Two Hook Portsmouth Dropper Rig, an extreme range casting trace sold with either size 1 or 2 hooks.

On the Dropper Rig, also known as a Loop Rig, both baits are positioned in-line behind the lead, which makes it similar to casting with a single hook, much more aerodynamic and an excellent distance casting rig.

Also, as the bottom snood is attached just above the lead, this enables you to fish a long flowing trace hard on the seabed.

The version of Dropper Rig demonstrated in the video is the Beaded Plaice Dropper Rig which features coloured beads to entice plaice.
